Unify beginner syntax while preserving compatibility, repair ownership and parser guards, add verified distribution tooling and VC6 Windows 98 build inputs, and clarify documentation and release status. Preserve DOS build-input line endings and exclude generated binaries/caches.

# Simple Functions

Claro teaches functions with plain words.
|
|
|
|
Preferred beginner style:
|
|
|
|

|
TEACH greet name
|
|
SAY "Hello " + name
|
|
END
|
|
|
|
DO greet "Jon"
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
`TEACH` defines an action. `DO` runs it. `END` closes the definition.
|
|
Older programs are still supported; see [compatibility syntax](COMPATIBILITY.md)
|
|
only when reading one.
